Graduated from University of St. Thomas with a financial management degree he has been assisting property owners and companies for more than two decades in creating sound real estate strategies. His management and brokerage background has enabled him to work with a variety of clients such as Proctor & Gamble, General Mills, Polaroid, Gabbert’s, Proto Labs, and a number of investment groups, REIT, and local business owners.

In 2005 Steve started Strategic a commercial real estate company that prides itself on providing high level of service and communication to the clients it serves.

Charles Bauman, MBA

With more than 18 years of the real-estate development experience in the Midwest & Pacific Northwest Region from: Development Consulting, REO disposition, Destination resorts, Mixed use, Industrial, Investment modeling and evaluations.

Charles’s most notable achievement was the project manager, on the seller’s side, that brought Facebook to Central Oregon. This single entity investment was responsible for almost a half of billion dollars of economic development creating a high-tech campus and associated services to data center industry.

Charles is experienced at all levels of management, holding positions from project manager to director. He has undergraduate degrees in Civil Engineering from Madison College and Business administration from Charter Oak State College. Graduate MBA in finance from Hamline University.

Hugh joins The Strategic team with over thirty years experience in commercial real estate brokerage and consulting. At Strategic, Hugh will continue to focus on creating value for his clients by aggressively representing their interest in achieving their goals and objectives. His primary focus is representing commercial property owners and investors in the sale, lease, and acquisition of commercial property. Hugh will also continue to exclusively represent commercial tenants and buyers in their acquisition of lease or owned space. Strategic’s expertise in financial analysis of property transactions will enhance Hugh’s ability to provide sophisticated analysis to better serve his clients.

Hugh believes that it is critically important to listen and clearly understand his client’s unique goals and objectives. Once his client’s objectives are clearly understood, Hugh’s creative and entrepreneurial approach enables him to identify areas of opportunity and find unique solutionsfor his clients. Hugh also believes in the importance of clear communication with his clients and reporting expectations are determined up front to insure timely communication.

Hugh holds the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation which enhances his understanding of the many factors that contribute to the valuation of property. Hugh is also a member of the Minnesota Commercial Association of Realtors (MNCAR) and the National Association of Realtors (NAR).
